INGREDIENTS
6 Large baking potatoes.
1 lb of lean beef,
1/2 garlic grove
1/2 onion chopped
tsp parsley
1 tsp orgreno
1 tsp basil
1 large can of crushed tomatoes.
1 1/2 pd of sharp cheese.
INSTRUCTIONS
Peel potatoes. Mixed the ground beef along with the other 5 ingredients. Cut a very thin slice from each of the potatoes on each top, take a small sharp spoon and hollow out the middle of the potato. Be care not to scrape too hard, just enough to fill the potatoes. Go as deep as you can without breaking the potatoes. Stuff the potatoes with the fillings. After stuffing the potatoes, place in a large cooking dish. Cover potatoes with crushed tomatoes and cheese. Bake for 1 hours and serve.
CHEF COMMENTS
This is a meal in itself, one large potato with the the stuffing, you can add other vegetables as you wish.
