White Chocolate Chip Orange Cookies

Servings: 3 dozen

INGREDIENTS

2 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 egg
2 to 3 tsps. grated orange peel
2 c. (12-oz. pkg.) White Chocolate Morsels

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350ºF. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, beat together butter, sugar and brown sugar until creamy. Beat in egg and orange peel. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Drop dough by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350ºF oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Let stand for 2 minutes; then remove to wire racks to cool.
