Hot Taco Dip

INGREDIENTS

2 8 oz. blocks of cream cheese
l can of chopped green chiles
1 small can of black olives, drained
1 small jar of salsa
2 c. shredded taco cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

Press softened cream cheese into an 8 inch baking dish. Layer the following: chopped green chiles (undrained), black olives (drained), salsa. Top with shredded cheese and bake in a 350°F oven until hot and cheese is melted. Serve hot with restaurant style tortilla chips or broken Ortega taco shells.

CHEF COMMENTS

Serve at a party and watch it dissapear!

My wife makes this exact recipe and it is always a hit! Just be cautious to let it cool a little before seving. It comes out of the oven as hot as lava. There are always a few people who can't wait to dig in and scorch the roofs of their mouths. always funny! December 9, 2003
