Mom's Marinated Mushrooms

Servings:
INGREDIENTS
2 jars whole mushrooms (pint size)
3/4 c. tarragon vinegar
1/2 c. salad oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1 T. sugar
1/2 t. salt
dash of black pepper
2 T. water
1-2 dashes Tabasco
1 large onion cut in rings
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix all ingredients. Add mushrooms and onions to vinaigrette. Best if marinated overnight.
CHEF COMMENTS
Very easy appetizer to make. Serve in bowl with slotted spoon and toothpicks on side.
