Hungarian Cucumber Salad (Uborka Salata)

INGREDIENTS
2 large cucumbers peeled and sliced very, very thinly, salt, vinegar, water, sugar, black pepper.
INSTRUCTIONS
Peel and slice the cucumbers, sprinkle with 1/2 tsp. salt. Let stand about 5 minutes. Squeeze out excess liquid. Mix 1/3 cup vinegar, 1/2 cup water, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt and dash of pepper. Add to the cucumbers. Optional, you may add some thinly sliced onions. Sprinkle with paprika.

A great, simple cucumber salad. I loved the touch the paprika gave (a nice little spicy kick!).
