Chocolate Chip Applesauce Cake

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup margarine or applesauce
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 cups flour
1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1-1/2 cups unsweetened applesauce
3/4 cup chocolate chips

Topping:
2 tbsp. sugar
1 cup nuts, chopped (optional)
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 tsp. cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix cake ingredients as usual. Put into greased 9x13-inch pan. Mix toppings. and sprinkle over. Bake about 40 minutes. at 350°F.
