INGREDIENTS

3 tb Bread crumbs; dried
1 ts Fresh parsley
1/4 ts Oregano; each &
Lemon peel; grated
1 tb Margarine; reduced calorie
1/2 ts Margarine; reduced calorie
8 oz Scallops; bay or sea
1 tb Lemon juice; freshly squee
1 tb Dry vermouth
1 c Garlic; minced

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine crumbs, parsley, oregano and lemon peel in a mixing bowl. Add 1 tbsp. softened butter and mix well. Set aside.

Preheat broiler. In shallow flameproof casserole, arrange scallops; mix together remaining ingredients and pour over scallops. Broil 6 inches from heat until scallops are opaque, 4 to 5 minutes. Sprinkle crumb mixture evently over scallops and broil until crisp and lightly browned, about 1 minute longer.
