Strawberry Butter

Servings: 1 cup

INGREDIENTS

1/2 lb. strawberries, hulled
1/4 cup apple cider
2 tbsp. honey
1/4 tsp. vanilla
Pinch cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all of the ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook until berries are soft. Drain, reserving the juices. Place the berries in a food processor or blender and puree until smooth. Pass through a fine strainer. If too thick, add a few drops of reserved juices to thin.
