Deep Dish Pear Pie

INGREDIENTS

6 cups pears, sliced
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Butter
1 Pastry crust

INSTRUCTIONS

Sprinkle pears with lemon juice. Sift together the sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix with the pears. Place mixture in a buttered oven proof dish, dot with butter. Cover pie with pastry crust. Bake at 425°F for 30 minutes or until pears are tender.
