Broccoli salad was requested at the recent BBQ I went to and I was a bit hesitant at first, but this was a GREAT recipe. I didn't have any bacon so I left this ingredient out, but I don't think it would have made a huge difference, I got rave reviews! Great recipe! May 24, 2005

This was a great recipe although I didn't think the sauce was enough (and I only made four lamb chops)! I made about double the sauce recipe, one for dipping the chops in before cooking and the second to drizzle over top. All in all a great recipe! April 29, 2005

I just wanted to say that my mom makes these cookies and calls them Italian Flag cookies and they are awesome! I didn't know there were other recipes out there! Great picture. Although I haven't made them myself I will vow for how good they are! March 19, 2005

This was a pretty good recipe. It was hard to try and cut holes in the middle so I just spread the cream cheese between two slices of bread. I also would have done a raspberry syrup maybe instead of the raspberries inside, and top it all of with powdered sugar. That's the fun of cooking, you can take a good recipe and tweek it to make it yours! March 14, 2005

Einar, another great recipe. I would add just a sprinkle of parmesan cheese to top it off. Other than that... so easy and good! March 4, 2005

I wanted to do sun-dried tomatoes instead of fresh, the only problem is then the crust is too hard. To make up for this, drizzle oil over crust before you put your toppings, this then becomes the "sauce". Other than that a good recipe, I would probably experiment with different toppings next time. This was also my first roast I have ever attempted and this was a really good recipe. I added other vegetables like parsnip, carrots, and green beans. I also would leave this in the marinade a little longer so that the meat can soak in the garlic, vinegar and rosemary flavors even more.
The only thing I wasn't sure on was how long to cook it for. I had a 2 lb. roast and it cooked about an hour and a half. December 23, 2004

This is the only cookie recipe that my dad has always said I make better than my mom! Great recipe; only I'm a Nestle chip girl. December 23, 2004

Nice and crispy! I really enjoyed this recipe. I coated the chicken in egg instead of butter, which I don't think made a huge difference. It was a hit. December 13, 2004

I made this for dinner last night and it really hit the spot. I agree with Einar, I don't really care what you call it, a good recipe is a good recipe! December 3, 2004

This dish was really easy to make! Simple and tasty. I added some fresh ground pepper to top it off to add just a little extra something since this is a very plain (but good) dish. November 19, 2004

Scottsangel, If you think that these cookies are too sweet for your taste maybe you should try substituting the Milk Chocolate Chips with Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips. You really can't omit sugar, but I think this will make a HUGE difference. I myself like the Semi-Sweet better. Hope this helps. November 11, 2004

I tasted this at a party and it was good, but not as good as an apple pie. October 21, 2004

Something seemed to be missing from this recipe. It also was too thick, so I had to add some water. It's a good recipe for plain eaters but I need some extra spices. September 21, 2004

I didn't have the right type of apples for this recipe so I made it with half Granny Smith and half Golden Delicious and let me tell you...it was awesome. I bet it's just going to be that much better the next time I make it! September 1, 2004
